SOSTIENI IL PROGETTO VEGAN CHRONICLES
La serie è composta da dieci episodi della durata di cinque minuti. Ogni puntata è indipendente e slegata alle altre; l’unico collegamento è Claudio, il protagonista.
Quando si entra in contatto con il mondo del veganesimo ci si scontra inevitabilmente con temi scottanti che riguardano l'etica e la morale: sui social network sono all'ordine del giorno video impressionanti di violenze di ogni tipo sugli animali accompagnati da interminabili discussioni, insulti e vere e proprie web risse. Quindi, chi prende la strada del veganesimo si trova spesso ad essere considerato matto, strano ed estremista.
L’intento della serie è quello di alleggerire il clima e permettere a chi è vegano, ma soprattutto a chi non lo è, di affrontare con un sorriso l’argomento.
Vegan Chronicles è la prima web serie 100% cruelty free: non solo non verranno utilizzati né maltrattati animali all’interno della serie, ma tutto il cibo presente, da quello di scena ai cestini della troupe, sarà vegano. Quindi non preoccupatevi per le bistecche che vedrete nei piatti, è solo seitan.
La serie, ambientata a Roma, città dove la scelta del veganesimo arriva con un leggero ritardo rispetto ad altre capitali europee, si avvarrà anche della collaborazione di personaggi dello spettacolo vegani, vegetariani e non.
CHI SIAMO
Andrea Morabito – Regista, AutoreVenticinque anni, si diploma nell’anno 2008-2009 alla scuola NUCT con alta specializzazione nel campo della regia. Lavora da circa tre anni nel settore audiovisivo come assistente, aiuto regista ed operatore. Firma la regia di backstage, videoclip e documentari (tutt’ora in elaborazione).
Attualmente lavora come autore e regista della web serie in corso Stone Face.
Claudio Colica – Attore protagonista, Autore
Venticinque anni, laureato in Comunicazione Pubblica e d’Impresa all’Università di Roma La Sapienza discutendo una tesi sulle web serie. Nel 2013 fonda “Fuori Corso” programma radiofonico settimanale all’interno di Radio Sapienza. Ha esperienze nel mondo del web dal 2012 ed è attore ed autore in Stone Face e MiniMad.

WHAT IS "VEGAN CHRONICLES"
Vegan Chronicles is a comedy web series about what happens to a normal 25 years old boy who has to face the reality around him after making a simple choice: to stop eating meat, fish, eggs, milk and derivatives or any other animal product.This is a 10 episodes series, each 5 minutes long. Every episode is untied from the others; the only link of each episode is Claudio, the main character. When you get in touch with the vegan way of life, you inevitably find yourself dealing with the great issues of ethical and moral nature that are inextricably linked with the choice itself of taking part of it: on the internet, social networks are filled with images and videos showing the violence and cruelty to which animals are subject, often followed by endless discussions between commenters, insults and what not. Often, those who chose to become vegans, are perceived as crazy, weird, extremists even.
What this series want to do is to lighten up this perception and to allow those who are vegan, aswell as those who are not, to deal with this topic with a smile.
Vegan Chronicles is going to be the first web series 100% "cruelty free": not only no animal will be harmed or used in the making of it, but all the food depicted in it, and the food served to the troupe, will be strictly vegan. ont you worry about the stakes on the plates, it's just seitan.
The series, set in Rome (city where the vegan alternative arrived a little later than other european capitals), will be starring celebrities, being them vegan, vegetarian or what not.
WHO WE ARE
Andrea Morabito - Director, Author 25 years old, graduated in 2008/9 at the NUCT with major in directing. He has worked for 3 yearsin the audiovisual as assistant, assistant director and camera operator. He's been directing backstage, videocilp and documentaries (right now being processed). He's currently working as author and director of the web series "Stone Face".Claudio Colica - Actor, Author
25 years old, graduate in Public and Business Communication at the University "La Sapienza" of Rome, discussing the "web series" concept at his finals. In 2013 he starts the weekly radio show "Fuori Corso" in the Radio frequency of his university. He has being experiencing with the world wide web since 2012 and stars and write in "Stone Face" and "MiniMad".
